akhirnya ketemu juga caranya di http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-476403.html,
here’s the command :

sudo ln -s /opt/lampp/lampp /etc/init.d/lampp
sudo update-rc.d -f lampp defaults

akhirnya ketemu juga solusi errornya hdc “driver is not intended for this platform”,
taunya karena install software Alcohol 120%, salah satu solusinya sih nge-uninstall Alcohol 120%-nya (atau Daemon Tools). kalo mao tau solusi laen2nya (ada banyak bwet) liat aja di sini.

padahal kemaren itu nge-search nya pake keyword “IDE channel error on install” dan “Primary IDE Channel error on uninstall”, taunya temen gue ngasi tau cukup pake error messagenya sbg keyword biasanya langsung ketemu. Dan jadilah gue make keyword “driver is not intended for this platform”, dan ketemu juga akhirnya solusinya. wew. Thx buat Google dan WinHLP deh

DRM and Windows Vista

28 March 2007

This is an interesting article entitled “A Cost Analysis of Windows Vista Content Protection” by Peter Gutmann (pgut001@cs.auckland.ac.nz),
It’s really for Windows people to help decide on upgrading to Microsoft’s new OS, Windows Vista.

It’s stupid, how the fact that, you can’t play a protected audio content over S/P DIF output (which for audiophile will be a big no), and cannot play HD video content on an HD-ready monitor (yes you can watch and do everything else that monitor can do, except playback of HD video content, how stupid…).

I mean, just look at the Table of Contents, list of things you lost because of Content (Over) Protection :
Disabling of Functionality
Indirect Disabling of Functionality
Decreased Playback Quality
Elimination of Open-source Hardware Support
Elimination of Unified Drivers
Denial-of-Service via Driver/Device Revocation
Decreased System Reliability
Increased Hardware Costs
Increased Cost due to Requirement to License Unnecessary Third-party IP
Unnecessary CPU Resource Consumption
Unnecessary Device Resource Consumption

How obviously that Content Protection is a big NO. :|

Yay! I’ve always been a big fan of AMD.
It will be great to work for AMD, I’m looking forward to opening in IT field. Mudah2an AMD buka lowongan, hihihih.
